Description and Objectives
  • To create an iPod/iPad application to operate the mini-LHR that measures column CO2. This completely replaces the laptop, National Instruments (NI) data acquisition (DAQ) hardware, and NI LabVIEW software.
  • To control and monitor remote instruments.
  • To provide access and control of instruments located in almost any environment.
  • To reduce implementation time for instruments by providing an architecture that is adaptable to design changes.

  • Leverages key IRC (Instrument Remote Control) concepts to provide a configurable library of standard visualization and commanding interfaces.
  • Automatically creates GUI (Graphical User Interface) for instrument commanding.

  • Data analysis pipeline parses, processes, displays, archives, and exports data.
