Description and Objectives

• Provide a visually-appealing, user-friendly, touch-based app for tables and smart phones that allows users to view and explore the scientific visualizations (images, movies) produced by Goddard's Scientific Visualization Studio (SVS) for education and outreach.

Technical Approach

• All content is specified by Extensible Markup Language (XML) and fed via standard Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) server.
• Initial version targets the Apple iPad, and is available now on Apple's iTunes App Store:

• Initial version targets the Apple iPad, and is available now on Apple's Universal (iPad + iPhone + iPod) version coming soon.
